Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Suzanne Adam is an experienced leader in the field of domestic violence and youth outreach, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) since September 2019. Prior to this role, Suzanne held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Women's Center of Greater Danbury from December 2015 to August 2019, and served as Director at YWCA Greenwich from September 2003 to November 2015. Suzanne's prior experience includes roles such as Shelter Manager and Child and Family Advocate at DVCC, Creative Therapist at Creative Therapies, Inc., and third-grade teacher at Six to Six Magnet School. Suzanne began the professional journey as a Para Educator at Naubuc School. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Sacred Heart University.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC)
Since 1980, Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) has provided counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and their children. DVCC is the only state-certified agency recognized by the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) serving the communities of Norwalk, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Weston and Wilton. DVCC’s role is to help those experiencing any level of domestic violence and assist them in building a safer environment for the well-being of themselves and their families. Our services include housing and financial advocacy; legal advocacy; trauma-informed individual and group counseling; and emergency safe housing. All victim services are free and confidential, and all services offered are multicultural/multilingual.
