Amanda Morgan is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in child protection, public safety, and advocacy for marginalized communities. Currently serving at the NSW Crown Solicitor's Office, Amanda focuses on high-risk offenders and child protection. As an academic researcher at the Australian Centre for Child Protection, contributions include exploring trauma-informed legal practices through the 2022 Churchill Fellowship and engaging with Indigenous and LGBTQIA+ communities. Amanda holds multiple advisory roles within the National Office for Child Safety and is a founding member of the Lived Experience Advisory Council at the Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Commission. With degrees in Law and Psychology from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, Amanda's commitment to social justice and community empowerment is evident through involvement in various organizations, including March4Justice and the National Women's Safety Alliance.

We're a not for-profit organisation and the peak body representing specialist domestic and family violence services in NSW. Our history dates back to 1974. Operating from a feminist, social justice perspective we work to improve the spectrum of policy, legislative and program responses to domestic and family violence and to eliminate domestic and family violence through leadership in advocacy, partnerships and the promotion of good practice.
