Bobby Rich, EIT, is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector and a solid foundation in nuclear engineering. Currently serving as Engineer III at Dominion Energy since June 2013, Bobby Rich specializes in the design and implementation of underground transmission lines, GIS equipment, and SVC/STATCOM systems while providing crucial support for transmission substation operations. Prior to this role, Bobby Rich served in the US Navy from September 2001 to October 2009 as a Nuclear Electrician, where responsibilities included operating and maintaining a Navy Nuclear Reactor, supervising plant operations, and instructing personnel in electrical theory. Bobby Rich holds multiple degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, including a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University.
