Emil Avram

Emil Avram is an accomplished executive in the energy sector with over two decades of experience at Dominion Energy, currently serving as Vice President of Business Development and previously holding the Vice President of Innovation role. Emil has a strong background in power generation, leading engineering and construction for natural gas infrastructure projects, and developing growth strategies for fossil-fueled, nuclear, and renewable energy projects. Prior to Dominion Energy, Emil worked at United Technologies in various managerial roles, overseeing significant gas-fired power projects and improving customer service operations. Emil holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
