Ruxandra B.

Ruxandra B. is a highly experienced safety analysis engineer currently working at Dominion Energy since October 2019. Prior to this role, Ruxandra served as a thermal hydraulics principal engineer at AREVA NP from May 2009 to October 2019, and as a research assistant at North Carolina State University between August 2007 and May 2009. Ruxandra also gained experience as an intern at Dominion Virginia Power in 2008 and worked as a project engineer at Cernavoda NPP from October 2002 to August 2007. Ruxandra holds a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Radioprotection and Nuclear Safety from the University Politehnica of Bucharest, along with a Bachelor of Science in Power Engineering and Economics in Power Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Ruxandra participated in the Leadership Lynchburg Flagship Program, Class 43, during the 2016-2017 academic year.
