Brook Knapp

Brook Knapp has extensive work experience in various accounting roles. From 2014 to the present, they have been with Dominion Enterprises, starting as a Corporate Accounting Manager and later becoming a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and communicating GAAP accounting policies, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and overseeing internal control policies. They also prepared and reviewed deliverables related to annual financial audits.

Prior to joining Dominion Enterprises, Knapp worked at DB Schenker from 2010 to 2014. They started as a Senior Accountant in the Reporting & Analysis Department and later became the Supervisor of the department. In these roles, they supervised staff, managed the month-end close process, prepared and reviewed tax packages, and streamlined GL reconciliation procedures.

Before that, Knapp worked at DesRoches and Company, CPAS as a Senior Accountant specializing in audits, reviews, compilations, and tax return preparation in the condominium and homeowner association industry.

Knapp's earliest work experience was at Perlin & Associates, Ltd from 1995 to 2002, where they served as a Bookkeeper/Accountant. Their responsibilities included bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, tax return preparation, and designing spreadsheets to streamline accounting procedures.

Brook Knapp obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2008-2009. Prior to that, Knapp completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University between 2002 and 2004. Additionally, Knapp holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
