Adelfina V. Simescu has extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering, currently serving as Mechanical Design Manager at Dominion Technologies Group, Inc. since March 2017. Prior to this, Adelfina held the position of Engineering Manager/Systems Design Engineer at Burtek Enterprises Inc. from April 2006 to March 2017, focusing on Department of Defense, aerospace, spaceflight, energy, and automotive projects. Adelfina's career began as a Design Engineer at Techweld International Inc. (1997-2000) and progressed to Mechanical Design Engineer at Fisher Dynamics Metal Forming (2000-2005), where skills in CAD design, simulation, and manufacturing processes were developed. Throughout the career, a strong emphasis has been placed on product and system design, integration, production, and customer support, demonstrating knowledge in manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.
