Rodrigo Borges is a Brazilian entrepreneur and investor. Rodrigo is the managing partner and co-founder of DOMO Invest, a venture capital firm. Rodrigo also has experience as an investor, board member, and advisor for startups in Brazil.
Borges began their career as an engineer and worked in the oil and gas industry before moving into the startup world. Rodrigo co-founded Turbi, a software company that was acquired by Google in 2010. Borges then went on to co-found Agenda Edu, an education technology startup that raised $1 million in seed funding. In 2017, they became an investor and advisor for Noverde, a fintech startup that helps people access credit through their mobile phones.
In 2018, Borges co-founded DOMO Invest with two partners. The firm invests in early-stage companies in Brazil and has backed startups such as UBOOK S/A, Hotmart, and Men's Market. Borges is also a board member for BoaConsulta, a healthcare startup.
Rodrigo Borges studied electrical and electronics engineering at Universidade de São Paulo and Bandeirantes. Rodrigo then went on to work as an engineer in the electrical and electronics engineering field.
