Kekoa Riggin has a diverse work experience. Kekoa started as a Localization Engineer at BYU Broadcasting in June 2015 and worked there until August 2016. In June 2017, they joined Mozilla as a Localization Intern, where they analyzed and managed translation assets, extracted terminology from them, conceptualized integration of terminology into Pontoon, developed style guide outlines for translation communities, and created documentation for the Pontoon translation tool. Kekoa worked in this position until September 2017. From October 2017 to June 2018, Kekoa worked as a Localization Engineer at Lingotek. In June 2018, they interned as an Internationalization Engineering Intern at Mozilla. After that, they briefly worked as a Computational Linguist, Digital Media Lab at the National Football League (NFL) from February 2019 to April 2019. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Domo, Inc. since June 2019.
Kekoa Riggin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Translation, Localization from Brigham Young University in 2016. During this time, they also received the BYU Language Certificate in Spanish. In 2013, they obtained a Medical Interpreter's Certification from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Kekoa then went on to complete a Master's Degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington, graduating in 2018.
