Account Executive at Domo

Scott Valenz has extensive work experience in the field of sales and account management. Scott started their career as the Director of WW Sales & Marketing at Virtual Press Office from 1998 to 2006. Following this, they worked as an Accounts Director at RIS News from 2006 to 2007, where they developed and sold multi-channel marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies in the retail industry. From 2007 to 2010, Valenz held the position of Manager of Business Development at eMarketer, where they focused on market research and trend analysis.

Valenz then transitioned to Forrester Research, where they had various roles. From 2010 to 2013, they served as an Account Manager, collaborating with C-level executives in the consumer technology and retail industries to develop customer-centric strategies. Later, from 2014 to 2014, they became a Senior Account Manager at Forrester Research and achieved significant sales success.

In 2014, Valenz joined Salesforce.com as a Senior Account Executive in the Enterprise Corporate Sales division, working with clients in the financial services industry. In 2015, they moved on to become a Senior Account Executive at Forrester, responsible for managing global clients in the financial services, healthcare, auto, and retail sectors.

Progressing in their career, Valenz then joined Oracle in 2021 as an Application Sales Manager, where they focused on marketing solutions. Scott then moved to Indico Data in 2022, holding the role of Enterprise Account Executive until 2023, contributing to the transformation of unstructured data into actionable insights. Currently, Valenz works at Domo as an Account Executive, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Valenz has consistently achieved results and received various accolades such as the 2014 Q2 CEO Luncheon Award at Forrester and multiple sales performance awards, including the 2017 Team MVP at Forrester.

Scott Valenz earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing and Management from Montclair State University, where they attended from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Clifton High School from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, Scott pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing at Montclair State University from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Scott obtained two certifications from MEDDICC: the MEDDPICC Masterclass in October 2022 and the MEDDPICC Masterclass V2 in April 2023.
