Trevor Tingey

Trevor Tingey has over 18 years of experience in software engineering and consulting. Trevor currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Domo, Inc., where they are responsible for driving changes to improve the way businesses operate. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead at Domo from 2012 to 2019.

Before joining Domo, Trevor held positions at various companies, including Service Repair Solutions as a Principal Software Engineer, Lucidchart as a Senior Software Engineer, and FamilySearch.org as a Senior Engineer. At Gold Systems, they served as a Lead Software Engineer and played a key role in upgrading web applications and directing technical advancements.

Trevor started their career as a Senior Software Consultant at Tingey Consulting, followed by roles at Henry Schein Medical Systems as a Software Engineer II and at VitalSmarts as a Software Engineer.

Throughout their career, Trevor has worked on innovative projects, such as developing a web application to replace a legacy product, creating an HTML5 drawing browser application, and implementing solutions for third-party clients. Trevor has a strong background in web development, cloud computing, and real-time communications.

Trevor Tingey pursued their education in the field of computer science. From 1996 to 1997, they attended Washington State University, although they did not complete a degree during this time. Subsequently, Trevor Tingey enrolled at Utah Valley University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering.
