Troy Millett has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Troy began their career as a Software Developer at IHC Affiliated Services Inc/GTE Health Care in 1987, where they developed General Ledger accounting software and a prototype PC-based charting program. Troy then joined Novell, Inc as a Software Engineer in 1990, where they were responsible for testing and verifying DOS Netware shells, as well as developing charts and graphs for metrics in the Network Lite product. In 1994, Troy took on contract and outside endeavors, including the development of the AARMS jail/prison auditing system.

In 1994, they also joined PowerQuest Corp as a Lead UI Engineer, where they designed and developed the user interface for the PartitionMagic product. Troy was heavily involved in enhancing and modifying a graphical library for a Windows-like interface running on DOS. Troy then joined Corda Technologies in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer, working on various development projects until 2005.

In 2005, they became a Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Symantec Corporation, and in 2006, they briefly served as the CTO at Lucion. Later in 2006, Troy joined Domo Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on UI development for developer tools, charting types and attributes, and different formats for charts. Troy was also involved in the design and development of builder tools for various products.

Throughout their career, Troy has demonstrated strong expertise in software development, UI design, and charting technologies.

Troy Millett's education history begins in 1980 when they attended Brigham Young University - Idaho for a year. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during this time. In 1982, they enrolled at Brigham Young University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science, graduating in 1987.
