Valerie Devereaux has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Valerie started their career at The Money Store/First Union National Bank in 1996, where they served as an IT Business Systems Analyst III/Project Manager. In this role, Valerie was responsible for conducting research, monitoring loan file turn around timeframes, and providing operational support for various departments. Valerie also programmed MS Access databases and managed facility moves.
Valerie then moved to Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 2000, where they became a Journeyman Programmer/Analyst. Here, they specialized in establishing new procedures and technology to improve processes. Valerie received commendation for achieving tangible dollar savings through innovative and effective use of the Attachmate application.
In 2005, Valerie joined ADP Benefits c/o AppleOne as a Business Analyst Contractor. Valerie acted as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, leading a high profile effort to test critical data processing automation. Valerie conducted interviews, created test cases, and collaborated with stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.
Valerie then joined Select Portfolio Servicing later in 2005 as a Business Intelligence Systems Analyst II. Valerie'sresponsibilities included completing detailed code mapping, documenting code flow and business logic, as well as performing research to reconcile loan-level charges.
In 2008, Valerie joined Symantec as a Principal Marketing Database Analyst/Administrator. Here, they played a key role in the implementation of Aprimo Marketing Studio 8.6, designing segmentation universes, managing lists of values, and performing data scrubbing. Valerie also reverse-engineered portions of an Oracle database.
Finally, Valerie joined Domo, Inc. in 2013, where they held various roles. Valerie started as a Senior Implementation Consultant, proceeded to become a Technical Consultant Team Lead, then a Consulting Manager, and finally a Senior Manager in different operations areas such as Consulting, Client Services, and Domo Business Operations.

Valerie Devereaux completed a Database Certificate in Computer Information Science from American River College in 2004. Valerie later obtained certifications such as CompTIA A+ in March 2019, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) in May 2019, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA) in June 2019, and CompTIA Project+ Certification in December 2020. Currently, Valerie is pursuing a BS in Data Management and Data Analytics from Western Governors University and is expected to graduate in 2023.
