Marta Sacchetti

Marta Sacchetti has extensive work experience in the field of ophthalmology. Marta is currently serving as the Global Head of Clinical Development for Ophthalmology and Neurotrophins at Dompé since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a researcher and post-doctoral fellow at Università La Sapienza from May 2016 to November 2022. Marta also worked as an ophthalmologist in a private practice from 2011 to 2020 and at Ospedale San Pietro FBF Roma from January 2012 to December 2019. Additionally, they had previously held a position as an ophthalmologist at Ospedale San Raffaele di Milano from March 2011 to November 2016 and at the University of Rome Campus Bio-Medico from January 2005 to 2011.

Marta Sacchetti earned a laurea in medicina e chirurgia from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2001. Marta then obtained a specializzazione in oftalmologia from the same university in 2005. Later, they completed a dottorato degree at the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma in 2010.
