Charlie Floyd

Charlie Floyd serves as the Vice President of Packaging Capital at Domtar, where responsibilities include leading the capital execution for the company's entry into the packaging business and supporting operations in Kingsport, Tennessee. With a prior role as Vice President of Manufacturing Optimization, Floyd oversaw safety, environmental compliance, continuous improvement, and reliability initiatives across Domtar's 13 mills. Previously, as Vice President and Mill Manager, Floyd successfully led the Kingsport Mill through a $400 million modernization project, establishing it as a flagship facility. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Mill Manager at Willamette Industries, focusing on the refurbishment and start-up of a market softwood pulp operation. Floyd holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
