Heidi Soderholm-Friedman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Heidi started their career in 1989 as an Assistant Women's Athletic Director at the University of Florida Athletic Association. Heidi then worked as a Marketing Event Coordinator at the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues from 1990 until 1990. Following this, they served as a Marketing Communications Specialist for the Toronto Blue Jays for a brief period in 1991. Later in 1991, they became the Tournament Director for the Charles Barkley Celebrity Golf Tournament. Heidi then joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a Corporate Sales & Broadcasting professional from 1992 until 1997. Following this, they worked as a Regional Marketing Director at ESPN from 1997 until 1999. Heidi then joined the Public Broadcasting Service in 1999 as an Event Director & Director Corporate Partnerships and Activation, where they stayed until 2000. Currently, they are working as a Vice President and Marketing Consultant at Don Jagoda Associates, a promotion marketing agency.

Heidi Soderholm-Friedman attended Stranahan High School from 1976 to 1980, where they completed their secondary education. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences/Marketing from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, graduating in the period from 1986 to 1990.
