Scott Andrews currently serves as the CEO and County Manager of Doña Ana County since October 2024 and is the Founder of The Violet Movement, initiated in June 2023, which aims to promote love, kindness, and community enhancement through transformative scholarships. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant City Manager for The City of Bakersfield from May 2022 to September 2024 and City Manager/CEO for the City of Covington, Georgia, from December 2019 to June 2022, where Scott secured three consecutive unanimous council approvals. Additionally, Scott held the position of Assistant City Administrator for the City of Smyrna, Georgia, from September 2017 to December 2019. Educational qualifications include participation in the Local Government Summer Institute at Stanford University in 2023 and earning a Climate Change and Health Certificate from Yale University in 2023.
