Magnus Bjerg

Magnus Bjerg is an experienced media professional currently serving as a member of the Media Responsibility Committee at Kulturministeriet since August 2023. At TV 2 DANMARK, Magnus has held various roles since October 2012, including Digital Managing Editor for TV 2 NEWS, where responsibilities encompass digital strategy and collaborations with streaming services and news platforms. Magnus has previously worked as a News Reporter and Media Consultant in New York, focusing on news management strategies and live reporting. Achievements include managing the most popular COVID dashboard in Denmark and leading the Editorial Development Team to create interactive storytelling. Magnus is also the President of the Danish Online News Association and was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT, researching the integration of journalism and technology. Notable accolades include winning an Emmy Award for the interactive documentary "In Event of Moon Disaster." Magnus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole and has a background in reporting from various news organizations in Denmark.
