Renee Zau

Renee Zau has a long and varied work experience. Renee began their career in 1995 as a Scientist and Database Coordinator at Axys Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for intake data accuracy and recordkeeping for thousands of human blood and genetic samples each week. In 1999, they were a Database Analyst at StoreRunner.com. In 2005, they became an Area Developer and Franchisee at FasTracKids International, where they developed and tested the business model for a multi-day preschool curriculum. In 2010, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of DonationMatch, a turnkey, self-service platform for companies to be more efficient and strategic in donating products and services to vetted nonprofit organizations and events. In 2012, they became a Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in San Diego and a Founder/Graduate of the Founder Institute. In 2022, they became a Committee Member of the Cause Conference San Diego.

Renee Zau obtained their BS in Applied Sciences: Bioengineering from UC San Diego between 1990 and 1995. Renee attended Homestead High School from 1986 to 1990. In November 2021, they obtained a Google Project Management Certificate from Google. In October 2012, they obtained a Gamification Course Certificate from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. In August 2020, they obtained a Hubspot Sales Software Certified from HubSpot Academy. In October 2011, they obtained a Hootsuite Social Media Certification from Hootsuite University.
