Cynthia Ottavio has extensive experience in the food industry, with their most recent position being Director of Research and Development at Donatos since 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant and Senior Fresh Food Brand Manager at Thorntons Inc. from January 2014 to July 2014. Cynthia also held the position of Director of Menu Innovation at Wendy's International for an unknown period of time between 1988 and 2013. Before that, they worked as a Senior Home Economist at Beatrice Hunt Wesson Foods from 1986 to 1988, and as a Senior Food Technologist at Carl's Jr. from 1981 to 1986. Cynthia started their career as an Assistant Food Editor at Redbook Magazine in May 1981, where they worked until September 1981.
Cynthia Ottavio has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Foods, Nutrition, and Related Services from the University of Arizona. Cynthia also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Food Technology and Processing from SUNY Farmingdale.
