Andrea Aktan

Andrea Aktan is the VP of Global Strategic Sourcing at Donnelley Financial Solutions. Andrea has over seven years of experience in global strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.

Andrea began their career as a Senior Purchasing Manager at CNH Industrial. In this role, they were responsible for managing a global team of buyers, creating and overseeing a global commodity budget for exhaust and engine components, and developing sourcing strategies. Andrea also took on global supplier responsibility and worked on cross-functional teams to resolve business issues.

During their time at CNH Industrial, Andrea was able to generate a financial forecast and budget to meet worldwide initiatives and support the company business plan. Andrea also developed global sourcing strategies for over eight different commodities that aligned all business units. In addition, they oversaw all new sourcing and resourcing projects to ensure optimal business cases and strategic alignment.

Andrea provided career development to their direct reports in order to foster professional growth and advancement within the organization. Andrea also created and negotiated global, high-level contracts with top suppliers to capture cost reduction plans that aligned with budgetary needs.

After their time at CNH Industrial, Andrea took on the role of VP of Global Strategic Sourcing at Donnelley Financial Solutions. In this role, they are responsible for developing a complex strategy for tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers that generates value while mitigating risk. Andrea Aktan has an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in International Business from Marquette University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Marquette University.
