Maya Lundhagen

Maya heads the Operations team, which efficiently brings classroom ideas to life through a successful and trusted end-to-end experience for teachers and donors. The team includes Customer Experience, Customer Support, Trust & Safety, and Volunteer Operations.

Before joining DonorsChoose.org, Maya co-founded 100Kin10, a STEM teacher-focused non-profit applauded by Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. She has extensive K-12 education reform experience at institutions including Carnegie Corporation of New York/Institute for Advanced Study and NYC Department of Education, and she served in the Peace Corps in Honduras as a water/sanitation engineer. She lives with her family on a wonderfully Sesame-Street-esque block in Brooklyn.
