Joshua Browder is the CEO of DoNotPay, a company they founded in 2015. DoNotPay is a free web-based service that helps users with a variety of tasks, from contesting parking tickets to filing for asylum. The company has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, and Forbes, among other publications.
Prior to DoNotPay, Browder was a research fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they worked with Professor Kuziemko and Fisman on programming a tool to investigate the question: "why do people think taxing the rich is unfair?" The research was ultimately published in 'The New York Times.'
Browder has also worked as a software engineer at Freedom House, a human right organization Washington DC. Joshua was the sole engineer for Freedom House and tried to bring technology to the world of human rights and government NGOs. While at Freedom House, Browder created the official Freedom House iPhone App.
Joshua Browder is a computer science and economics student at Stanford University. Joshua attended high school at University College School.
