Brett Kushner

Brett Kushner has several years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a focus on comedy. Brett currently serves as the COO of Don't Tell Comedy, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor for the same company from June 2018 to July 2022.

In 2017, Kushner worked as a Comedy Festival Partnership Consultant for San Francisco Sketchfest. Brett then joined Group Nine Media in 2017, where they held multiple roles. Brett started as the Director of Business Development and later became the Executive Director of New Initiatives & Incubation. From May 2019 to February 2022, they served as the Vice President of New Initiatives & Podcast Executive Producer, overseeing various revenue-generating partnerships and launching the G9 Podcast Network for Group Nine and its brands.

Kushner also has experience with JASH, where they served as Co-Head of Talk Show Labs & Director of Business Development from December 2012 to November 2017. Brett was also involved with content production for Comedy Central's "The High Court" as a Producer from October 2016 to April 2017.

Additionally, Kushner worked as a Senior Producer for The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre from December 2012 to February 2017. Brett gained experience in film production as a Freelance Film Producer from December 2012 to January 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Assistant for Disruption Entertainment from September 2011 to November 2012.

Kushner's career in comedy began with an internship at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre from July 2011 to August 2012. Brett has a diverse background in various aspects of the entertainment industry and has held prominent positions in several organizations throughout their career.

Brett Kushner completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Motion Picture, Television, and Recording Arts from Florida State University, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. In December 2014, they obtained a certification in Audience Growth from YouTube.
