John D. McCarthy

John D. McCarthy has a strong background in finance and has held various roles as an Interim CFO and Acting CFO in multiple companies. John started their career in 2017 as an Acting CFO at KidPass and later worked at Updater and Code Climate in the same role. In 2019, they joined Seasoned as an Acting CFO and stayed until 2023. John then worked as an Acting CFO at WeSpire and Eight Sleep. In 2021, they briefly served as an Acting CFO at Donut. Currently, they are serving as an Interim CFO at Red Oak Compliance Solutions and will join Extensiv as an Interim CFO in 2023. John has proven expertise and experience in financial management roles.

John D. McCarthy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese, with a focus on Asian Studies and History, from Connecticut College. John also attended Middlebury Language Schools to study Chinese Language and Literature for a brief period. In addition, they pursued further education at Peking University to enhance their understanding of the Chinese language. Furthermore, McCarthy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a Master of Arts in International Studies from The Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to their higher education, they completed their high school education at Staples High School.
