Casi Shimizu

Casi Shimizu is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the HR Director for People Business Partners and Employee Relations at DoorDash since July 2025. Prior to this role, Casi held various senior leadership positions at Flexport, including Sr Director of HR Business Partner for Talent and People Operations and Director of Human Resources and Talent Management. At Amazon, Casi advanced from Senior HR Manager to Principal HR Leader, focusing on Last Mile Technology and Product. Earlier experience includes multiple HR roles at Nordstrom, where Casi served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Regional Human Resource Manager, among others. Casi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Washington, a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, and completed a Certificate Program in Organizational Development from Villanova University, along with training at Georgetown University's Engalicheff Institute.
