Ellie Mertz

Ellie Mertz has worked in a variety of financial positions over the course of their career. Ellie began as a financial analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners in 1999. Ellie then moved to Overseas Private Investment Corporation in 2004, where they managed investment funds. In 2006, they joined Netflix as vice president of finance and investor relations. Ellie remained at Netflix for seven years before moving to Airbnb in 2013. After a few years at Airbnb, they joined Faire in 2018. Ellie is currently the director at DoorDash.

Ellie Mertz has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a MIA from Columbia | SIPA in International Economic Policy, an MA in Theirtory and Philosophy of Science from Stanford University, and a BA in Science, Technology & Society from Stanford University.
