Jim O'Sullivan

Jim O'Sullivan is an experienced engineer and executive with a strong background in regulatory strategy and technology development within the UAV and aviation sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Drone Strategy at DoorDash since January 2025, Jim previously held the position of VP of Regulatory Strategy and Special Projects at Matternet Inc from August 2015 to January 2025, where responsibilities included leading global regulatory initiatives and FAA certification programs. Prior roles encompassed founding Laser Locator, LLC, contributing to design projects at Scaled Composites, and providing consulting services as an Electronics Engineer. Jim's earlier career includes design engineering at Cisco Systems and Divicom, focusing on advanced networking and video technologies. Jim's education is from Florida Atlantic University.
