Marwan Kathayer

Marwan Kathayer has a wide range of experience in iOS development and product management. Marwan started their career in 2008 at Union Street Technologies, where they provided support for software applications used by telecom providers. Marwan then worked as an iOS developer at HG Apps Store from 2010 to 2011. From 2012 to 2013, Marwan developed the KatchUp iPhone application, collaborating with designers and server engineers to create a dynamic mobile solution. Marwan also worked as an iOS developer at Wigwamm in 2013.

In 2013, Marwan became the lead iOS developer at Touch Surgery, focusing on cognitive decision-making in surgical operations. Marwan joined SAM Labs in 2015 as the lead iOS developer, working on IoT hardware and platforms. In 2016, Marwan took on the role of lead iOS developer for The Tab, where they developed an iOS app for verified authors. Marwan then became the director of Swift Monkey, a company striving to improve industry coding standards. Since 2016, Marwan has been working at Doordeck as the Head of Product and an iOS developer.

Marwan Kathayer attended City, University of London from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they pursued a BSc (hons) in Software Engineering, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
