Marla Carter

Marla Carter is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Doorways since February 2023. Prior to that, Marla founded and currently serves as the President of The Compass Rose Foundation, a non-profit organization in Northern Virginia that focuses on mentoring under-represented youths. Marla previously held positions in human resources and management at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, 1st Choice Staffing Agency, TSi Staffing, and Walmart. Marla earned a BS in Business Management from Hampton University.
