Susan Cordova Rose has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Susan started their career as a Junior Loan Processor at Emerald Home Loan, where they reviewed loan packages and facilitated communication between borrowers and lenders. Susan then worked as a Loan Coordinator at Ameriquest Mortgage Company, where they handled underwriting and processing for multiple residential loans per month.

After that, Susan joined ECCU as a Commercial Loan Analyst, managing the credit union portfolio and providing risk assessments to partner organizations. Susan also developed an electronic loan checklist to improve communication and reduce late loan fundings.

Susan's passion for education led their to work at JOYA Scholars as a Grant Writing Intern, where they wrote grant requests and developed fundraising strategies. Susan Cordova Rose began their education journey in 2013, attending Vanguard University of Southern California. Susan pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, completing their studies in 2015. Moving forward, they enrolled at the University of California, Riverside in 2017 and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing in 2019.
