Ruben van Dijken

Ruben van Dijken currently serves as the Chair of the Youth Advisory Council at Provincie Groningen since April 2021 and holds multiple roles at GHD Ubbo Emmius, including General Member and Vice Chair of the Lecture Committee, Chair of the Activities Committee, Advisory Board Member, and Public Relations Officer for the First-Year Committee. Ruben has experience in the hospitality industry as a Host and Server at Doppio Espresso since April 2022 and previously worked as a Student Mentor at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from September 2021 to August 2022. Academically, Ruben is pursuing a Master’s degree in European Politics in a Global Perspective at the University of Groningen and has completed a Bachelor's degree in History from the same institution, along with a Minor in International Relations, and is enrolled in the Euroculture Intensive Programme at the University of Strasbourg for 2024.
