Franklin Davenport

Franklin Davenport has worked for six companies since 2011. Franklin started at ShoppersChoice.com as a Web Developer, where they refactored YUI javascript code into jQuery and integrated with plugins such as jQuery-UI, wrote an administrative tool using the Yii mvc framework for PHP, and occasionally wrote custom queries to find data or update records. In 2011, they moved to Pennington Biomedical Research Center as a Software Developer, where they developed a system to track resources and generate pro-rated invoices based on fee schedules, and revitalized a health training web application for ease-of-use and visual appeal. In 2014, they worked at Technology Engineers Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2015, they became the Owner of First1Apps. In 2016, they worked at Metaclinic as a Principal Engineer, where they designed and engineered a web-based pathology laboratory management system enabling laboratories to increase volume and securely manage cases through their entire lifecycle by automating decisions, preventing human error, integrating with lab equipment, handling billing, generating reports, and delivering results to health providers. Franklin also lead engineers in the development of a system empowering multiple health care providers to share data and coordinate care for their patients. In 2020, they moved to Socialwyze as Chief Technology Officer. In 2022, they became a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Doppler.

Franklin Davenport attended Louisiana State University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a focus on Software Development.
