Laurens Verhulst is an experienced project engineer currently working at Dutch Ophthalmic Research Center since September 2019, focusing on the delivery of technical files for innovative medical devices in compliance with international regulations. Prior to this role, Laurens completed a biomedical engineering internship at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in mid-2018 and served as a Localization Quality Assurance Tester at Keywords Studios from September 2016 to September 2017. Early career experience includes internships as a Mechatronics Engineer at Heemskerk Innovative Technology BV and NDW Rollers. Laurens holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from University College Dublin and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Avans University of Applied Sciences, complemented by a brief educational experience at Stuttgart Media University.
