Ronald de Lange is currently the Design Usability & Risk Control Manager at DORC Dutch Ophthalmic Research Center since December 2011, where responsibilities include managing usability and risk management for medical devices and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Prior to this role, Ronald held positions such as Program Manager for Strategic Projects and Manager of New Product Development Instruments, overseeing the development of ophthalmic instruments from conception to market launch. Ronald's earlier experience includes serving as a Technical Consultant and Project Leader at TNO Mobility, focusing on sustainable road traffic solutions, and as a Research Scientist in vehicle safety at TNO Automotive, where advancements in car safety were researched and developed. Ronald studied Automotive Engineering at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and began engineering studies at Eindhoven University of Technology.
