Shelly Bostwick currently serves as the Assistant Director of Technology for Dorchester School District 2 since August 2011, leveraging extensive experience in educational technology. Prior to this role, Shelly worked as an Instructional Technology Coach at both Eagle Nest and Windsor Hill Elementary from July 2005 to July 2011 and at Hanahan Elementary from August 2003 to July 2005. Shelly began a career in education as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Hanahan Elementary, a position held from August 1998 to June 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from The Citadel (2014), a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Lesley University (2003), a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the College of Charleston (1997), and an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Trident Technical College (1995).
