John Stephenson

John Stephenson is a Data Story Designer at Lightcast since June 2024 and has been a team member of the Dordt Media Network at Dordt University since 2022, where responsibilities included broadcasting sporting events and managing on-air graphics. John has served as a Teaching Assistant for both GIS and Plant Science, providing support in surveying and laboratory maintenance, respectively. Experience includes working as a GIS Data Specialist for the City of Hull, implementing the city's first GIS system, and collaborating with city departments for utility mapping. A prior turf-grass intern at Minnesota United FC, John supervised a crew for field quality maintenance, and earlier roles involved groundskeeping at The Minikahda Club and dishwashing at The Original Pancake House. John is pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Plant Science from Dordt University, expected to graduate in 2024.
