Jono Davis

Senior R&d Test Engineer at Cycling Sports Group

Jono Davis has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jono started their career as a Bicycle Mechanic at Trail Head Cyclery in 2007 and then worked as a Bicycle Mechanic at Pullins Cyclery from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they also worked as a Mechanical Designer at the Dutch Bicycle Company for a short period in 2010.

From 2008 to 2013, Jono worked at Paul Component Engineering, where they held various roles including Technician, Web Designer, and Advertising Manager. In 2011, they became a Bicycle Mechanic at The Devil's Gear Bike Shop, where they worked until 2013.

In 2012, Jono joined MAP Bicycles as a Mechanical Designer and stayed there until 2014. During this period, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineering student at Micro-Vu Corporation, where they worked on a Senior Capstone Design Project related to industrial robot development.

In 2014, Jono joined ASSA ABLOY as a Product Development Engineer, where they gained experience in new product development, VA/VE events, and sustaining engineering for brands like Sargent, Corbin Russwin, and Yale.

From 2015 to 2017, Jono worked at Advanced Sports as the OVAL Concepts Product and Brand Manager. In this role, they developed and sourced house-brand components for OE spec and AM sales, collaborating closely with vendors in Taiwan and China.

Currently, Jono works at Cycling Sports Group as a Senior R&D Test Engineer, a position they have held since 2017.

Jono Davis's education history consists of obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico. This degree was earned between the years 2006 and 2014. Additionally, Jono obtained a certification as an Engineer in Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in October 2013.
