Linda Artola

Program Associate for the Building Bridges Program at Doris Duke Charitable Foundation

Linda Artola is the program associate for the Building Bridges Program of the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art, an extension of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. In this role, she serves as the primary, day-to-day administrator of the program’s grant making for projects that advance relationships, increase understanding and reduce bias between Muslim and non-Muslim communities across the country.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2017, Artola assisted the production of multimedia projects at various nonprofit organizations. Most recently, this included Democracy Now! Productions in New York, from early pitching and research to postproduction and marketing. She has also provided key translation, fundraising and outreach support for public relations and international student exchange organizations. Artola is also a singer and writer, and manages SUPERMAMBO! A Vibes Tribute to Tito Puente in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social communications from Central American University (UCA), Managua, Nicaragua.
