Lee Herron has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Materials Clerk at Camtac Manufacturing, where they developed work instructions and trained employees. Lee then worked as a Sales/Furniture Designer at Expressions in Wood in 2009. From 2012 to 2013, they held co-op student positions as an Engineering Co-op Student at RTS Companies INC and Rolmaster Conveyors. In 2010, they became a Mechanical Designer at Niagara Belco Elevator Inc., creating Solidworks models and drawings. In 2013, they worked as a Mechanical Designer/CAD Administrator at Fil-Trek Corporation, specializing in industrial filtration vessel design and CAD administration. Lee Herron's education history begins in 2004 when they attended College Heights Secondary School and obtained an O.S.S.D degree, which is recognized. Following this, from 2009 to 2013, Lee attended Conestoga College where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Design and Analysis, specializing in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician.

Lee also obtained several certifications in the field. In August 2013, they became a Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Weldments Specialist. In November 2013, they achieved the SolidWorks Professional - Mechanical Design certification. In October 2014, Lee earned the CSWPA-SM Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Sheet Metal certification. Lastly, in March 2015, they became a Driveworks Certified Professional after completing training at Driveworks World Training.
