Emre Akça has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Emre started their career as a System Design Engineer at TAI in 2006 and worked there until 2008. From 2009 to 2019, they joined TUSAş-Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. as a Propulsion & Fuel Systems Technical Specialist. In 2019, they moved on to become a Senior Systems Engineer, Propulsion CVE at Dornier Seawings GmbH, a role they held until 2023. Currently, they are working as an Engine Controls Senior Engineer at Deutsche Aircraft.
Emre Akça attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Emre has obtained several additional certifications, including a Certificate of Training in Fundamentals of Aircraft Engine Control from Cranfield University in April 2015, a Certificate of Recognition in Pratt & Whitney Canada, PT6A Large Series Engines Line & Base Maintenance from FlightSafety International in November 2012, and a Certificate of Accomplishment in Steel Hub Propeller Knockdown and Re-assembly and Minor Blade Repair from Hartzell Propeller Inc. in June 2012.
