Hilal Türkmen

Hilal Türkmen has extensive work experience in flight test engineering. Starting in November 2012, they worked as a Flight Test Engineer at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii for six years before being promoted to Experimental Flight Test Engineer in September 2018. In August 2021, they became the Attack Helicopters Chief Flight Test Engineer, and then in January 2022, they transitioned to Dornier Seawings GmbH. There, they initially served as the Lead Flight Test Engineer and has currently taken on the role of Head of Flight Test starting in March 2023.

Hilal Türkmen completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi) from 2007 to 2012. In 2019, they attended Sikorsky Academy for Flight and Ground Test Technical Training. Additionally, they obtained a CPL (A) certification from SHGM / Sivil Havacılık Genel Müdürlüğü in February 2019, and another CPL (A) certification from EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency in June 2018.
