Norbert Porth

Norbert Porth has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Norbert recently joined Deutsche Aircraft in 2022 as a Flight Test Engineer. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Dornier Seawings GmbH starting from 2016. At Dornier Seawings, they held multiple roles including Test lead of historical Seastar S/N 1002, Flight Testing Team Lead, Deputy Head of Flight Test and Operations department, and Flight Test Engineer. Before joining Dornier Seawings, Norbert worked at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. from 2003 to 2016. Their roles at Deutsches Zentrum included Airworthiness Engineer, Flight Director Columbus, Flight Controller Columbus Systems, and Flight Dynamics Specialist. Norbert's career started at Dornier Luftfahrt, Fairchild Dornier in 1998 as a Flight Test Engineer, where they worked until 2003.

Norbert Porth pursued their education from 1988 to 1996 at the Technical University of Munich, where they obtained a Diplom degree. Norbert specialized in the fields of Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (aerospace engineering), Aeronautik (aeronautics), and Astronautik (astronautics).
