The Dorrance Scholarship is a need-based award that aims to instill college-going traditions in future generations of Arizona families, to provide financial access and academic support for recipients, and to enhance college persistence through unique enrichment experiences.

Recipients of the Dorrance Scholarship are among the most fortunate students in Arizona: the scholarship affords opportunities not readily available to most college students. 

Dorrance Scholars receive more than funding for college: this is a scholarship program. Students will meet regularly to explore the integration of learning, vocation, leadership and philanthropy. University and Program orientations preceding college experience, and on-campus housing freshman and sophomore year, support the transition from high school to college. International travel and cultural events are signature features of the scholarship program that enrich college life.
