Jonathan Herman

Jonathan Herman is a Partner and Co-Chairman of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, a position held since December 1995 in the New York office. With expertise in commercial, banking, publishing, and securities litigation, Jonathan has also engaged in complex transactional matters and diverse trusts and estates administration. Prior to Dorsey, Jonathan served as a Partner at Townley & Updike and Rogers & Wells. Additionally, Jonathan was a Trustee at New York University from 2009 to 2015. Jonathan holds a JD from New York University School of Law (1970-1973) and a BA with highest honors in History from New York University, University Heights (1965-1969).
