Hariharan Govindaraj has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. HARIHARAN worked as a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer (R&D Lead) at Dortek Hygienic Doors, where they identified process improvements, provided support to production, and drove continuous improvement. Prior to that, they were a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Dortek Limited, specializing in composites R&D. HARIHARAN also worked as a Research Scholar at Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, conducting research on composite materials manufacturing for aerospace and medical devices. Hariharan was also a Project Lead at PMI Engineering Exports, where they were involved in medical device and aerospace manufacturing projects, handling process identification, new project estimation, and customer coordination. Lastly, they served as a Project Associate Engineer at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, focusing on aerospace testing R&D, design, and analysis for DRDO projects.
Hariharam Govindaraj completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Composite Materials Manufacturing at the University of Limerick, starting in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) by Research in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they completed only taught courses from 2013 to 2017. HARIHARAN holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Nehru Institute of Engineering & Technology, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. In their earlier years of education, Hariharam Govindaraj attended S.B.K higher Secondary School, where they obtained their SSLC and HSC degrees in the fields of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from 2005 to 2008. Finally, they pursued their Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal) from Anna University, completing it from 2016 to 2018.
