dos Santos (winery) is a small family project that started in 2010 when dos Santos family decided to revitalize and reconstruct an old family Estate in the Region of Vila Meã, Amarante, Portugal, deep in the Terroir of the Vinho Verde.
Wine, a long-time passion of the family, was the perfect answer to bring life to the terroir that was abandoned for over 40 years. conditions were set for the development of a serious, long-term, project aimed at the production of exceptional quality wines in the Amarante sub-region.

In addition to the wine production, dos Santos extended the project to wine-tourism, in order to enhance the material and immaterial heritage of the region surrounding the vineyards. The jewel is the old Church of de Real, a national monument and part of the Portuguese Romanesque Route.
