German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB)
Johannes Curtius has extensive experience in international relations and sports management. Currently, Johannes serves as a Guest Lecturer in Sports Business and Communication at Munich Business School since September 2021. From October 2009, Johannes has held multiple roles at Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund, including International Relations Manager and Head of Sports for Refugees, among others. Previously, Johannes worked as an International Relations Officer at UNESCO and as a Carlo-Schmid Fellow at Akademie der Künste. Educationally, Johannes holds a Magister Artium in Political Science and Government from Heidelberg University, with additional studies at Universidad de Chile and Dickinson College.

The German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) is the umbrella organization of German sport. We stand for performance, health, the joy of life and promotion of values. We represent more than 27 million memberships in almost 90.000 sport clubs and 100 member organizations, making the DOSB Germany's largest citizens' movement. The DOSB is a registered association (e.V.) with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, supported by an office in Berlin and an EU office in Brussels. Its patron is the German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
