Jason Pou, MD is a dual fellowship-trained Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who focuses his practice primarily on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the head and neck. Areas of special interest include management of facial paralysis and synkinesis, nasal surgery including functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, Mohs reconstructive surgery, eyelid surgery, browlift, face/neck lift, and scar revision.

Dr. Pou received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed his residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, focusing on cosmetic facial plastic surgery. He completed a second facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC focusing on reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, and facial reanimation.

Dr. Pou is board-certified by American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and board-eligible by American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Pou is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, among other professional medical associations. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and as a fellow, he received the Sir Harld Delf Gillies award for the best science research paper of the year. He is also an active volunteer with the Global Smile Foundation and the New Orleans Medical Mission Services, and he has volunteered his expertise on medical mission trips to Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Kenya.
