Dean Parkinson

Dean Parkinson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Dean started their career as a Senior Developer/Analyst at Reinsurance Group of America in 2001, where they served as the Product Manager for a commercial software product. Dean then worked at various companies, including MHE.NET, Vantage Credit Union, and 1st Financial Federal Credit Union, in roles such as Lead Software Developer and Vice President of Information Technology.

In 2016, Dean joined Star International Holdings, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology, where they provided coaching, leadership, and direction to development, infrastructure, and operational teams. Dean also implemented a multi-layered security strategy and facilitated the construction of a data warehouse.

Dean's most recent position is at Dot Foods, where they are a Lead Software Engineer. Dean provides leadership and mentoring to less experienced developers and works closely with business analysts, product owners, and clients to improve user experience and automate processes.
